VitaMix Journey update

Here I am owning a top of the line VitaMix Pro 750 for over a month, I have made many smoothies (about 70+ smoothies), ice cream, soups, desserts. I feel like the investment we made on this machine is already back! When we first got the VitaMix 750, my husband was skeptical about what this blender can do for us and why it costs so much. He had doubts and he thought it was way too much to pay for a blender. But, he saw me using VitaMix every single day, making smoothies, desserts, soups for our family, now he is a big fan of our VitaMix! Yay!! Last night, we were all sitting around our kitchen table and trying to figure out how many drinks that I've already made by using VitaMix. If we didn't guess wrong, we think it's about 80+ drinks. (not including all the delicious ice cream and soups I made). My kids's favorite drink in the summer is Sonic's strawberry slush during their Happy Hour (1/2 price between 2-4 pm), now they can enjoy Happy Hour anytime of the day wi

When my kids were drinking a good healthy smoothie, I know they were getting the nutritious. Tonight, I got my daughter involved using the VitaMix, Brenda was able to make herself a Strawberry smoothie by using the smoothie preset. She loved our new kitchen addition and we don't treat VitaMix as a kitchen appliance, we treat VM as our personal chef. No matter what ingredients you put in, VitaMix will get the job done. Done, Right!

VitaMix Wet Container 32 & 64 oz

I have been using Vitamix 750 for the past two weeks. I love that now I can make my own smoothie and sorbets and even make Startbucks's Frappaccinos! However, the container (64oz wide bottom) that came with the blender is way to big to handle a smaller job, so I decided to buy a 32 oz wet container to go with my new Vitamix. I am so glad I did!! I just received it today and I make a 2 cups of smoothie using this smaller container. I don't hear the horriable motor running sound anymore. Here are my videos and pictures.

Mango Pineapple Strawberry Sorbet - Vitamix Way (Pro 750)

I got a new Vitamix 750 two weeks ago today, but I haven't make ice cream using Vitamix! You probably seen a lot of homemade Almond Milk videos on youtube. Here is my version of Almond Milk, it's very easy and straight-forward. All you need in one cup of raw almond (pre-soaked overnight), three cups of filtered water, put almond and water in Vitamix (or any blender) blend for about one minute. optional: sweetener to taste.  Pour the contents of the blender through a cheese cloth lined strainer into a 1 quart glass canning jar. Squeeze to extract all the goodness of the almond meal. Store the milk in the refrigerator. It should keep for up to 5 days.

I made my very first Strawberry Smoothie using Vitamix Professional Series 750. I don't know what to tell you, but the smoothie tasted so good. It looked like a restaurant quality and the smoothie was so smooth that  you just can't get enough. 3 cups frozen strawberries 2/3 cup non-fat milk 1/2 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt Place all the ingredients in a Vitamix blender in the order listed then set your Vitamix to smoothie pre-programmed setting. You may need to stop the blender and use a spoon or tamper to stir the fruit if it gets stuck. If you don't have a smoothie setting on your machine, select variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to 10 for 30 seconds. Serve immediately. Makes 2 to 3 smoothies.135 calories

Vitamix Professional series 750 arrived

I have been using Magic Bullet for as long as I can remember. I liked it a lot at first, but as time progress, I want a blender with multi-purpose, a blender that can replace most of the home-used blenders on the market. Here we are, Vitamix arrived at my home and I made my first smoothie using this awesome machine.
