VitaMix Wet Container 32 & 64 oz

I have been using Vitamix 750 for the past two weeks. I love that now I can make my own smoothie and sorbets and even make Startbucks's Frappaccinos! However, the container (64oz wide bottom) that came with the blender is way to big to handle a smaller job, so I decided to buy a 32 oz wet container to go with my new Vitamix. I am so glad I did!! I just received it today and I make a 2 cups of smoothie using this smaller container. I don't hear the horriable motor running sound anymore. Here are my videos and pictures.

Mango Pineapple Strawberry Sorbet - Vitamix Way (Pro 750)

I got a new Vitamix 750 two weeks ago today, but I haven't make ice cream using Vitamix! Ok, I was a little scare, I have to admit. After I watched so many vitamix sorbet/ice cream making videos on youtube, I decided to give it a try. OMG! I was impress the result I got and my first sorbet making using Vitamix was sooooo delicious. Here is a picture and video.

Almond Milk - Vitamix 750

You probably seen a lot of homemade Almond Milk videos on youtube. Here is my version of Almond Milk, it's very easy and straight-forward. All you need in one cup of raw almond (pre-soaked overnight), three cups of filtered water, put almond and water in Vitamix (or any blender) blend for about one minute. optional: sweetener to taste.  Pour the contents of the blender through a cheese cloth lined strainer into a 1 quart glass canning jar. Squeeze to extract all the goodness of the almond meal. Store the milk in the refrigerator. It should keep for up to 5 days.

Shayne's Green Smoothie

The reason I called it "Shayne's Green Smoothie" is because I adopted this recipe from my co-worker - Shayne. He has a BlancTec at home and he always try to eat healthy and drink healthy. When he learned I got a Vitamix, he shared his green smoothie recipe with me so I can make my first Green smoothie! Here is the picture and recipe. Ingredients: 1 Apple, 1 Kiwi, 1/2 Banana, 4 Strawberries (use frozen fruits) 3 baby carrots. 10 oz of water. 1 leaf Kale - Blend all ingredients for 40 second. (Start with variable 1 increase to variable 10)

This recipe came from Vitamix website. Since I got a Vitamix 750 couple weeks ago, I just want to give it a try to see if I can make a delicious soup like those Vitamix demonstrators at the whole food markets. Vitamix - Strawberry Smoothie

I made my very first Strawberry Smoothie using Vitamix Professional Series 750. I don't know what to tell you, but the smoothie tasted so good. It looked like a restaurant quality and the smoothie was so smooth that  you just can't get enough. 3 cups frozen strawberries 2/3 cup non-fat milk 1/2 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt Place all the ingredients in a Vitamix blender in the order listed then set your Vitamix to smoothie pre-programmed setting. You may need to stop the blender and use a spoon or tamper to stir the fruit if it gets stuck. If you don't have a smoothie setting on your machine, select variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to 10 for 30 seconds. Serve immediately. Makes 2 to 3 smoothies.135 calories

Vitamix Professional series 750 arrived

I have been using Magic Bullet for as long as I can remember. I liked it a lot at first, but as time progress, I want a blender with multi-purpose, a blender that can replace most of the home-used blenders on the market. Here we are, Vitamix arrived at my home and I made my first smoothie using this awesome machine.
